Mixed-use development plan for Brough
A £100m mixed-used development is being planned for Brough in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
The scheme, which is being developed by Horncastle, Redrow Homes, Riplingham Estates and BAE Systems, will create about 850 homes and improve transport links.
In terms of the leisure aspect, a spokesperson for Horncastle told Leisure Opportunities that while the plans were in the development brief stage, the 100-acre complex could include a hotel, a gym, a pub, a drive-thru restaurant and a garden centre.
A full planning application will be submitted to East Riding of Yorkshire Council by the end of this year.
