More funding for Lincoln culture and tourism
Tourism and cultural services in Lincoln will benefit from additional investment worth more than £450,000, following an agreement by the local authority's executive.
The City of Lincoln Council (CLC) will provide funding for the newly-formed Visit Lincoln Partnership and the upkeep of the existing Visit Lincolnshire website. Meanwhile, CLC will increase its contribution to Lincoln Arts Trust for continued provision of cultural arts events at Lincoln Drill Hall, which was taken over by the trust in 2010.
