Scottish brewer and pub retailing and estate management company, Belhaven Group, has announced that finance director David Morrison is to take early retirement next year due to ill health.

The actual date of his departure, expected to be in the spring or summer, will be announced when a successor is found.

Morrison joined Belhaven in 1989 and was a key member of the management buyout team in 1993 as well as playing a prominent role in the company’s flotation in 1996 and equity fundraising in 2003.

Recruitment for a new finance director is expected to begin shortly.
