Mövenpick to manage first Paris hotel
Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has signed a deal to manage its first hotel in the French capital Paris.
The Swiss hotel group has secured a deal to take over the operations of a 242-bedroom hotel - currently branded Courtyard by Marriott Paris Neuilly - from January 2013.
As part of the management deal, Mövenpick will undertake a multi-million-euro renovation of the hotel taking place next year.
The works will result in the number of rooms increasing to 282. The hotel will continue to be open throughout the floor-by-floor renovation with minimal disruption and the makeover will be finished in 2014.
Facilities at the hotel include a health club, the Victor Hugo restaurant and the popular 58 Bar & Lounge.
