Multi-million pound spa and health club created in Chester
A new £8m health club and spa has been created in Chester – called The Club and Spa at Hoole Hall. The facility is part of a £27.5m project to transform the former Hoole Hall Manor into a stunning Doubletree by Hilton hotel, creating a truly sumptuous destination.
The facilities are the last word in luxury and are truly state of the art including everything from a top of the range gym, two studios, 14 treatment rooms and a meditation room as well as an outdoor Watsu pool and waterfall. Some of the innovative features in the club were created in collaboration with audio visual experts, AB Audio Visual.
Paul Kelsall, general manager at The Club and Spa at Hoole Hall, commented: "AB Audio Visual really stood out because of the special touches that they offered us. For example, the iPod access in the studio and the underwater music and lighting features. Their service has been outstanding throughout. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Since the installation, we have had a few teething problems but AB Audio Visual have offered us an exceptional level of support."
The system includes a complex multizone PA system covering the swimming pool, gym, studios, reception areas, changing rooms, treatment and meditation rooms, as well as the café and bar. In addition to a TV and music system for the gym, AB Audio Visual also created a TV network for the screens on the fitness equipment and lighting solutions for the two studios and swimming pool.
Around 18 months in the planning, the facility worked closely with renowned spa consultants Blue Spa & Leisure to create this exceptional member experience.
