Museum planned for Dunfermline
Fife Council proposes to build a new museum and gallery in Dunfermline, Scotland.
Development of the new facility – based on the themes of royalty and the city’s industrial heritage – will be developed further, following a recommendation to the council of Richard Murphy Architects as the preferred designer.
The Scottish architect won a design competition involving six architects, which was viewed by 1,300 people and attracted 400 written comments.
