National Media Museum director departs
Colin Philpott is to relinquish his position of Bradford's National Media Museum (NMM) following a seven-year tenure at the film, photography, television and internet attraction.
The announcement coincides with a revamp of the senior levels at the National Museum of Science and Industry (NMSI), the parent group of which NMM is a member.
As part of the NMSI reorganisation, the NMM will no longer have a director-level position and will instead feature a newly-created role of head of the attraction.
The overhaul aims to forge closer links between the NMSI and the Science Museum, with the head of the NMM to report to the deputy director of the London attraction.
