Natural England reveals draft plans for improved Kent coast access
Natural England has published its draft proposals for increasing public access to the Kent coast between Ramsgate and Folkestone through an enhanced walking route.
A consultation period is now underway into the plans for the route along the 60km (37.3-mile) stretch of coastline, which includes the towns of Sandwich, Dover and Deal.
Natural England and Kent County Council has met with landowners to map out the route, while discussions have also taken place with other relevant groups and stakeholders.
