The Natural History Museum in the UK has created a science communication public relations team, dedicated to increasing awareness of the institution’s scientific research and activities.
The team of three includes Liz Woznicki as science communication PR manager, Joanna Glyde as Darwin Centre communications executive and Chloe Kembery as science communication PR assistant.
Woznicki joins the museum from the Wildlife Trusts, Kembery from the Biotechnology and Biological Research Council, and Glyde from the museum’s own press office.
The new team will promote all areas of the museum’s science including the work of the departments of Botany, Entomology, Palaeontology, Minerology and Zoology, and its new Darwin Centre through a programme of marketing, media relations and advocacy. Details: www.nhm.ac.uk
