Nautilus revises figures
The Nautilus Group has lowered its earnings expectations for the second quarter and for the year, in response to the current market conditions.
The company expects to report second quarter net sales in the range of $95 to $100m with earnings per share in the range of $0.13 to $0.15.
The company’s revised estimate for 2003 revenue ranges from $450m to $470m with corresponding earnings per share at $1.00 to $1.10.
The group said that increased competition and lacklustre consumer spending had affected business.
Meanwhile, Gregg Hammann, former chief customer officer of North America and president of Latin America and Canada for Levi Strauss & Company, has been appointed as the new president and chief executive officer.
