Neil Best appointed new Chair at Aquaterra Leisure
Aquaterra Leisure is delighted to announce the appointment of Neil Best who, with the full support of the board of trustees, has been appointed as the new Chair of the Board.
Neil has enjoyed an impressive career as a consultant working in physical and social regeneration for almost 20 years, working with local and central government, small businesses, community and voluntary organisations and charities. He has worked across a number of London boroughs and was Programme Performance Director for the EC1 New Deal for Communities programme based in Islington. Neil has a degree from the University of Liverpool where he studied Sport Sociology and he has a passionate commitment to creating equality of access to leisure facilities.
Neil Best, new Chair of the Board said: "Aquaterra is an organisation with an excellent reputation and I am delighted to have been appointed Chair. There are some great opportunities to build on our successes and extend the scope of our services. With the support of all the staff and trustees I am confident that we will continue to deliver positive outcomes for our partners, individuals and the communities in which we operate."
