New £90,000 play area opens in Hitchin
North Hertfordshire District Council (NHDC) has opened a new £90,000 play area in Hitchin, which has been designed for both children and older people.
Designed by Wicksteed, the King George V Playing Field facility provides play equipment for local young people, in addition to a fitness zone for users of all ages. NHDC portfolio holder for leisure Ian Knighton said: "It is a fantastic addition that means the whole community can enjoy the facility for many years to come."
