New Aussie clubs for Fitness First
Fitness First Australia has launched new clubs in the capital city of Canberra and Wynham in Brisbane, Queensland.
Both located in retail developments, the clubs offer gyms equipped by Life Fitness,Technogym, Hammer Strength and Australian Barbell; personal training; an array of Les Mills fitness classes and Cosmic Cycling; Fitness First’s exclusive group cycling class, carried out to music in a darkened room with UV lighting.
Fitness First Canberra is also the first club to feature the new Fitness First retail depot where a specially designed funky clothing range called Stuff™ will be sold.
Meanwhile, the Wynham site offers an extra large free weights area, childcare facilities and the chain’s signature Relaxation Zone with sauna and steam.
Both clubs are set to launch Fitness First’s Adopt a School programme – a community-based initiative designed to utilise ‘down-time’ in clubs.
The clubs will offer free, specially designed exercise programmes to schools.
Fitness First now operates 70 clubs with more than 330,000 members and is a Fitness Australia Recognised Provider.
