New CEO for 24 Hour Fitness
Carl C. Liebert has been appointed CEO of 24 Hour Fitness Worldwide, following founder Mark Mastrov’s decision to step down.
Mastrov will, however, continue in his role as chair of the board.
Previously, Liebert served as executive vice president at The Home Depot, where he was responsible for sales and operations across its 2000-strong estate. His career history also includes a five-year stint as an officer in the US Navy following his graduation from the Naval Academy, where he obtained a degree in physical science.
He will now oversee the 365 clubs in the 24 Hour Fitness portfolio and its three million members.
