New Cardiff Bay Visitor Centre set to open
Cardiff Council has revealed that the new Cardiff Bay Visitor Centre (CBVC) is set to open at its new Wales Millennium Centre home on 18 September.
The facility, which is the newest tourist information centre to join the Visit Wales Network, will provide visitors with information on events and attractions across the city and region. Cardiff Council executive member for sport, leisure and culture Nigel Howells said: "The transformation of the area around Roath Basin is now very much underway, reflecting the ongoing confidence about the future success and economic development of Cardiff Bay.
"The move to Wales Millennium Centre was necessary to make way for access to the new developments in Roath Basin and demonstrates the council's commitment to working in partnership with local businesses."
