New Jersey to host Formula One Grand Prix
New Jersey governor Chris Christie has confirmed that the US city will host a Formula One Grand Prix in June 2013, which will be run over a 3.2-mile (5.1km) road circuit.
It is the latest addition to the Formula One calendar, with India staging its first Grand Prix at the Buddh International Circuit in Uttar Pradesh this weekend (28-30 October).
Meanwhile, Sochi, Russia, will also join the calendar under a seven-year deal from 2014, with the government reportedly set to invest US$200m (£124m, EUR141m) in a new venue.
