New London sites for Premier Lodge
As part of a continuing acquisition drive, budget hotel group Premier Lodge has invested £25m in two new London sites.
Work starts this September on the 227-room Premier Lodge at Kings Cross, which will be developed by P&O Developments as part of the Regent Quarter mixed use development. The hotel will include an atrium as well as glass lifts.
Rialto Homes is due to start work in May on a 141-room hotel at the second site in Brentford, which forms part of the new Ferry Quays area near Kew Bridge. Completion is expected in June 2003.
Premier Lodge has more than 120 sites throughout the UK, and aims to open two or three new sites every month.
