New Master Innholders chair appointed
Andrew McKenzie has been elected as the new chair of the Master Innholders livery company.
McKenzine – who is managing director of The Peter Michael Collection, which includes the Vineyard at Stockcross and the Donnington Valley Hotel and Spa – takes over from Richard Ball, managing director of Calcot Manor, who has chaired the Master Innholders for the last two years.
“The hospitality industry is a wonderful career choice and the Master Innholders represents everything that is great about it, particularly promoting best practice and management development,” said McKenzie.
“I am both proud and excited to being elected chairman and I look forward to promoting these ideals over the next two years.”
Andrew previously worked for De Vere, InterContinental and Thistle hotels and spent eight years with Shire Hotels before taking up his present position.
