New SeaWorld waterpark to open in 2007
SeaWorld Orlando has announced plans to build an innovative new waterpark, to open in Orlando in 2007.
A spokesperson for the company said that SeaWorld is designing a naturalistic park which will 'surround visitors with adventure and the beauty of the sea, lush nature and amazing animals'.
A signature attraction will whisk guests through a lagoon within inches of Commerson’s dolphins.
Jim Atchison, executive vice president and general manager of SeaWorld Orlando, said of the plans: “This creation will will not only be new to Orlando, it will be new to the world.”
The park will be located near SeaWorld Orlando on International Drive.
