A new centre for the arts, creativity and enterprise, which has been established in the former St John's church in High Wycombe, has officially opened its doors.
Arts4Every1 is designed to provide a "cornerstone" for the ongoing renovation of the town centre, while also supporting multi-cultural communities and economic development.
The project has received backing from Wycombe District Council (WDC), which acquired the church and hall in order to help provide a new creative centre for the local community.
WDC also undertook wind and watertight works on both buildings before leasing it out on a peppercorn rent to Arts4Every1, which will manage the new facility.
Arts4Every1 is the brand name of Wycombe Community Arts Centre. The centre also aims to offer events to help "define the town as major centre for innovation in the South East."
