New attraction to fly into Gold coast
A new attraction is reportedly set to open in Australia’s Surfer’s Paradise next year: a three-storey flight chamber.
AiRush, a AUD$7m (£3.3m, US$4.7m, 3.5m euro), glass covered, flying attraction will be situated at the Chevron Renaissance Shopping Center and feature overhead fans that create an air flow through the flight chamber. According to goldcoast.com.au, the attraction’s board members include former mayor Gary Baildon, former Warner Brothers chief operating officer Steve Peet and former Disney employee Colin Bland.
The AiRush is being built by Texas, US-based company SkyVenture.
