New attractions consultancy launched
Richard Saward, the former commercial director of the National Coal Mining Museum in Wakefield, has launched his own consulting business.
Called Attractions Consulting, the new company will look to work with museums and heritage sites to improve their front-of-house operations and income whilst still concentrating on their core objectives.
Before his nine-year stint at the National Coal Mining Museum, Saward spent two years at children's museum Eureka! in Halifax.
"I believe that I can assist museums and attractions to attract more visitors, exceed visitor expectations and generate more income," he said.
