New attractions for 2010 for Adventure World
Adventure World theme park in Perth, Australia, has launched two new attractions for the new year.
The Freefall, a 56m vertical drop ride manufactured in Germany, was opened at the park on New Year's Day.
Adventure World has also introduced Terminator X, a Terminator-themed laser tag game created by Lynton V. Harris' Sudden Impact! Entertainment company.
"It's like being inside a video game," said Harris, whose company creates live theatrical attractions.
"The laser battle is a new attraction for us," he said, "there are not as many actors trying to scare you, but the arena itself is intelligent - shooting at you and trying to battle against you to win points to win the game."
Terminator X will remain at Adventure World for the summer season.
