New attractions for Tokyo Disneyland
Disney will open two new attractions at its Tokyo theme park.
The first of the two, a Y2bn (US$21m, £14m, 15m euro) walkthrough attraction, will be located inside the Cinderella Castle in park’s Fantasyland zone and will open in time for the 2011 season.
A year later, in 2012, a new Toy Story Mania! Will be opened, at an estimated cost of Y11.5bn (US$118, £78m, 87m euro).
The Interactive ride will take guests through a heavily-themed 3D world and includes a number of games during the ride.
Disney earlier announced that the planned Turtle Talk attraction at the Tokyo DisneySea was on schedule to open in October 2009.
