New auditorium underway at the Belgrade Theatre
The Belgrade Theatre in Coventry has announced that the £6.45m main construction phase – which will complete the theatre’s £11m capital development project – is now underway.
The work, which is being carried out by ISG InteriorExterior, involves the creation of a seven-storey extension accommodating a new auditorium with 250 to 300 seats.
Performances at the Belgrade will continue until February 2006, with the reopening planned for December 2006. Details: www.belgrade.co.uk
