New board members for Ecsite
The European network of science centres and museums, Ecsite, has named six new elected members to its board.
Sharon Ament, director of public engagement at the Natural History Museum, London, UK, has been re-elected to the board as vice president.
The other members are Robert Firmhofer, director of the Copernicus Science Centre, Warsaw, Poland; Michiel Buchel, general director, at the science centre NEMO in Amsterdam, Netherlands; Claudie Haignere, president of universcience, in Paris France; Asger Høeg, director of Experimentarium in Hellerup, Denmark; and Svein Anders Dahl, chief executive of Vilvite, Bergen, Norway.
The new board members were elected by Ecsite full member institutions attending the Ecsite AGM held on 4 June in DASA, Dortmund, Germany, during the Ecsite Annual Conference 2010.
