New chair for Imperial War Museum
The Imperial War Museum (IWM) has revealed that Sir Francis Richards has been chosen to succeed Air Chief Marshal Sir Peter Squire as chair from 19 December.
Sir Francis has been a trustee of the museum since April 2007 and has held the position of deputy chair since December 2009. He has also chaired the trustees of Bletchley Park. Former roles have also included Governor and Commander-in-Chief of Gibraltar, a post Sir Francis retired from in 2006, and director of GCHQ.
