New children’s fitness club launched at Stafford sports centre
Stafford Borough Council will launch a new fitness club in March at Alleyne’s Sports Centre that aims to get young people exercising.
The weekly Tri-Active evenings will showcase triathlon-themed activities and equipment to children aged eight to 14.
The council backed the scheme following the success of an Olympic-themed triathlon taster last year.
Thirty spaces will be available on a first come first served basis and will cost £4 per week.
