New collaboration for Miraval Arizona
Miraval Arizona, the destination spa resort in Tucson, US, has entered into a new strategic alliance with with National Geographic Expeditions and Lindblad Expeditions.
In conjunction with National Geographic Expeditions, a series of four-day photography workshops will be held during 2011 with the help of magazine photographers. Meanwhile, a 17-day exploration of the Azores and Madeira islands; the Canary Islands; and the Isles of Scilly, UK, will be offered in partnership with Lindblad Expeditions.
The latter will feature a Skills@Sea programme, which will see a Miraval specialist join trip leaders to offer breathwork, yoga and mediation classes. The collaboration forms part of the resort's bid to create unique experiences for its guests alongside its facilities, which include a relaxation loung and a yoga and Pilates studio.
Three swimming pools; the Body Mindfulness Center; an on-site challenge course with high and low ropes; and an 18-hole golf course designed by Tom Weiskoph also feature at the resort.
