New divisional director for Legoland Windsor
Sue Kemp has been appointed divisional director for Merlin Entertainments' Berkshire theme park, Legoland Windsor.
The appointment took effect from 1 May and follows Kemp's three years as general manager of the company's Warwick Castle attraction. Her tenure there included the successful launch of the Warwick Dungeon. Kemp has been with Merlin since 2002, initially as operations director at Warwick, then in a similar role at Alton Towers before returning to Warwick as general manager.
She said: "I am thrilled at the prospect of joining the very committed and talented team at Legoland Windsor. "Merlin is also showing great confidence in the future of the attraction given these difficult times, with a significant investment programme already agreed including the new hotel development."
