New eco-friendly hotels collection unveiled
Kiwi Collection, one of the world's largest curated collections of luxury hotels, has unveiled its new compilation of properties that show "outstanding commitment" to sustainability.
The list of eco-friendly hotels and resorts has been put together with the help of sustainable tourism advisor Hitesh Mehta and currently boasts 20 properties in locations around the world.
However, Kiwi Collection is hoping to further expand the new collection of eco-friendly hotels and resorts in order to meet demand from travellers seeking more sustainable options.
Among the locations to feature on the list are Banyan Tree Bintan, Singapore; The Savoy in London, UK; and Chiva-Som International Health Resort in Thailand.
Mehta said: "By acknowledging and promoting the sustainable efforts of these properties making headway in the sustainable tourism sector, Kiwi Collection hopes to educate and steer consumers towards making a conscious choice in the way they travel."
