New football pavilion for Farnborough
Rushmoor Borough Council (RBC) has officially unveiled a new £1.1m football pavilion in Farnborough, Hampshire, which is to be the permanent home of the Rushmoor Community Football Club (RCFC).
The pavilion, which has been funded by the council, the Football Foundation and Sport England, includes catering facilities and a function room, as well as a base for the local Safer Neighbourhood police office. RBC leader Peter Moyle said: "The new pavilion is a great facility that has not only provided a new home for the football club, but will also offer a focus for the local community for years to come."
