New gym unveiled at Windrush Leisure Centre
West Oxfordshire District Council and leisure contractor GLL have unveiled a £500,000 makeover and expansion at the Windrush Leisure Centre gym.
The Witney facility has a new layout, state-of-the-art equipment and a refurbished reception centre.
The official ceremony, on 7 March, came two weeks after £150,000 of refurbishments at Chipping Norton Leisure Centre were unveiled.
Council cabinet minister for local economy, communities and culture Richard Langridge said: "The new gym caters for all needs and all abilities, and we're hearing really positive things from leisure centre users who are pleased with the improvements."
