New head of marketing for VisitScotland
VisitScotland has appointed Alistair Gronbach as head of brand marketing.
Gronbach's responsibilities will include managing above and below the line marketing in the UK and Ireland and ensuring that business tourism opportunities are developed to their full potential.
Malcolm Roughead, VisitScotland's director of marketing, said: I am delighted that someone with Alistair's skills has decided to work within Scotland's most important industry - tourism.
Gronbach, 36, spent six years with Scottish Courage, where he worked on the Becks, Coors and Kronenbourg 1664 brands.
