New home for Hull theatre
Hull Truck Theatre has announced plans for its new home.
Part of the £150m Ferensway regeneration scheme, the project has been funded by the Arts Council of England, Kingston Upon Hull City Council and Yorkshire Forward.
The £7m theatre will comprise a 450-seat auditorium, a 150-seat experimental space, rehearsal rooms, education and corporate suites, production support facilities and a café bar.
London-based architects Wright & Wright have been appointed to design the new venue, which is due to complete in 2006. Details: +44 (0)1482 224800
