New indoor theme park to open in Dubai
An indoor Dubai theme park in the emirate's City of Arabia development is to open to the public in December.
Ilyas & Mustafa Galadari Group (IMG), which own and will manage the theme park, have partnered with Marvel Entertainment International for the project.
The centre will form part of a 1.2m sq ft (111,484sq m) ongoing development that is anticipated to be the world's largest temperature-controlled indoor entertainment destination.
The 350,000 sq ft (32,516sq m) Marvel Adventure centre will include a range of interactive entertainment experiences featuring Marvel characters.
In addition, there will be retail outlets, dining facilities with a range of international cuisine and a range of common areas and facilities.
Simon Philips, President of Marvel Entertainment International said: "Following the outstanding global and local box office success of Marvel's The Avengers, and the strong affinity for Marvel in the UAE, we are thrilled to be working with the IMG Group to bring some of the most popular characters to kids and families across Dubai."
