New installations for Fitlinxx
FitLinxx has continued its international expansion with new site openings in Spain and Sweden.
Three installations in Spain, in conjunction with Life Fitness, took place at clubs in Tarragona, Toledo and Tau Vitoria in the Basque region.
The latter is a particularly prestigious installation, as it is located within the Fernando Buesa Arena, home to the Tau Vitoria basketball team – one of the top eight teams in the Euroleague.
“The fitness industry in Spain is really embracing connectivity. There is a huge demand for it at the moment, and lots of potential future business,” says Colin Neale, FitLinxx’s director of sales international distribution.
Meanwhile, FitLinxx’s second site in Sweden is a new top-end facility in Malmo.
In addition to the FitLinxx system and FitLinxx online, the company is supplying ActiPeds to support the club’s weight-loss programme. The new club is also set to become a show site for Star Trac, which is installing 10 pieces of CV equipment and 17 resistance machines.
