New-look arts centre opens in Cardiff Bay
Cardiff Bay's landmark Norwegian Church Arts Centre has officially reopened its doors to the public, following the completion of an extensive refurbishment programme.
A new terrace and extension to the coffee shop have been provided as part of the scheme, as well as the installation of a lifting platform to the first floor gallery and exhibition space. Cardiff Council said the scheme had been supported by the Landfill Communities Fund and local authority partner Hordaland County Council in Norway.
Nigel Howells, Cardiff Council's executive member for sport, leisure and culture, said: "The refurbishment is great and will enable us to host many events at the centre and secure the future of the church for many years to come."
