New members for HLF North East committee
The Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) has announced the appointment of Lindsay Allason-Jones and Dr Susan Antrobus to its North East committee.
Allason-Jones is director of the centre of Interdisciplinary Artefact Studies at Newcastle University, while Antrobus is biodiversity co-ordinator for the Tees Valley Biodiversity Partnership. The HLF's North East committee is responsible for determining the outcome of regional applications worth between £50,000 and £1m, supported by a team based in Newcastle.
Ivor Crowther, head of the HLF in the North East, said: "We are really pleased to welcome both Lindsay and Susan to the team. They will both bring huge amounts of experience and extensive local knowledge to what is already a strong group."
