New name for Culture and Sport Glasgow
Culture and Sport Glasgow has announced that it has changed its name to Glasgow Life as part of a rebranding exercise that aims to increase awareness of its services.
The charitable trust, which operates museums and leisure facilities across the city, revealed it has spent £53,000 on the transformation, as well as carrying out research and testing on the new brand. All new promotional material will feature the new Glasgow Life logo to replace the existing brand identities, including Glasgow Sport, Glasgow Arts and Glasgow Museums.
Glasgow Life chair Bailie Liz Cameron said: "More and more people are looking to use our services and facilities, as they look closer to home for sport, culture, education and leisure opportunities, which are both high quality and value for money. "The new brand will give the people of Glasgow the information they need to access more of our services. Already, our facilities enjoy the highest levels of satisfaction of any public services offered in the city."
