New openings for Hyatt Hotels
Hyatt Hotels is opening its 400-room Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa and Marina on Maryland's Eastern Shore, USA at the end of this month.
Facilities will include an 18-hole championship golf course, a 150-slip marina offering sailing lessons, canoe and kayak rentals, sunset dinner cruises, wave runner rentals and fishing expeditions and an 18,000sq ft stillwater spa.
The Hyatt Regency Huntingdon Beach Resort and Spa - a joint venture between affiliates of Hyatt Corporation and The Robert Mayer Corporation, is due to open in January 2003 in California overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
Known as Surf City, for its eight miles of white, sandy beaches and world-class surfing competitions, Huntingdon Beach will be home to Hyatt's 26th property in California.
The resort, will sit on an elevated parcel of land with each guestroom offering views of the Pacific. Facilities include two restaurants, a retail shopping plaza and 52,000sq ft of indoor meeting space with an exhibition hall and a 20,000sq ft divisible grand ballroom with ocean view.
Outdoor function space will include an ocean-view lawn for outdoor weddings, parties and receptions.
The resort will offer a 20,000 sq ft Pacific Waters Spa, Hyatt's nineteenth spa destination. Details: www.hyatt.com.
