New public cycling track for Rubery
Bromsgrove District Council (BDC) has officially launched a new public BMX track at Callowbrook Park in Rubery, Worcestershire.
An inaugural British Cycling Club coaching event - organised by the council and the Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership - was held on 9 April to mark the opening of the facility. BDC developed the new BMX track in partnership with the Local Neighbourhood Partnership and will continue to be responsible for the maintenance of the facility.
John Godwin, head of leisure and cultural services at BDC, said: "We hope that people in Rubery and across the district will have fun and make good use of their new cycling facility."
