New rides launched at Kings Dominion
Theme park owner and operator Cedar Fair Entertainment has announced that its Kings Dominion theme park in Doswell, Virginia, US, will feature three new attractions in 2007.
A second wavepool called Tidal Wave Bay, a 65ft (20m) water ride called Tornado and a rafting adventure for groups of four called Zoom Flume will be added to the existing WaterWorks waterpark located inside Kings Dominion.
Construction on site is already underway and the new attractions are scheduled to open in late May 2007.
Kings Dominion will reopen for its 32nd season a few months earlier in March 2007, with a reduced one-day admission ticket price.
