New tennis dome opens in Pembrokeshire
Pembrokeshire County Council (PCC) has announced that a new tennis dome has opened at the site of Tasker-Milward School in Haverfordwest, south west Wales.
The new facility comprises two Lawn Tennis Association-standard courts, in addition to a multi-surface area to accommodate a variety of sports such as netball and basketball. PCC cabinet member for sports Rob Lewis said: "I am looking forward to seeing tennis clubs and groups as well as social tennis players making the most of this fantastic facility."
The dome replaces a former structure, which deflated last Easter. A new artificial pitch has also been installed outside the facility, as well as four floodlit outdoor tennis courts.
