New underwater treatment rooms for Huvafen Fushi
The Huvafen Fushi hotel and spa, located within the North Male Atoll of the Maldives, has recently opened two underwater spa treatment rooms.
Situated within its own aqua lagoon, Huvafen Fushi’s new spa rooms have been built 8m beneath the Indian Ocean and were designed to deliver an experience to guests that is “beyond their wildest dreams”.
The property is also set to become part of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH) global portfolio.
The addition of Huvafen Fushi to the SLH group brings the number of members in the region to five. The others are the Soneva Fushi Resort & Spa, the Soneva Gili Resort & Spa and Coco Palm Beach Resort & Spa and the Banyan Tree Maldives.
Other features of the Huvafen Fushi resort include an 800sq m beach pavilion and 43 contemporary bungalows, each with its own oasis and freshwater pool.
