Adrenaline Adventures has announced that a new outdoor adventure park - featuring a cable wakeboarding facility - is to open in Winnipeg, Canada, from 25 June.

Facilities will also incorporate a five-storey high ropes course with ziplines and a beach with volleyball courts, although the wakeboarding facilities are not due to open until 1 July. Once fully open, the venue will include two wakeboarding lakes, including a smaller lake for beginners, and a 10-acre (4-hectare) lake with cable system.

A spokesperson said: "[The two-level ropes course] offers several climbing walls, challenges on each level, and three ziplines from the top of the structure." Adrenaline Adventures - privately owned by Jason Rohs - launched in 2010 with a snow tubing hill regarded as one of the largest in Winnipeg.
