Renaissance Orlando at Seaworld in Florida, US, has announced the official opening of the new R Aqua Zone interactive water playground experience.

The new area aims to offer additional family-friendly facilities at the Marriott International-run property, which also includes an 8,500sq ft (789.7sq m) nèu lotus spa. R Aqua Zone includes a teen and tween play area with two water slides - one measuring in excess of 120m (393.7ft); periscope guns; a gyroscope spinner; and water jets.

A water windmill is also on offer, while toddlers will be able to benefit from a separate area that includes a tot pool; a small slide; and more than 20 mini jets, as well as a rain tree. Elsewhere at the Renaissance Orlando at Seaworld, the nèu lotus spa boasts eight treatment rooms; a manicure and pedicure area; steamrooms; and relaxation areas.

A 2,600sq ft (241.5sq m) fitness club and a series of dining options are also available.
