New waterpark for Nevada
Clearwater Waterpark Development has announced that it will build a new waterpark on a 25-acre (10-hectare) site in Henderson, Nevada, US.
The Californian developer expects to open a family waterpark facility on the site in the spring of 2008.
The site will feature the largest lazy river west of the Mississippi, a huge themed interactive children’s area and a five-attraction slide complex featuring a three-person inline boat ride, six-lane mat racer and body slides.
Mike Riedel of Clearwater said: “We have been looking for a site in Las Vegas for two years and are now extremely pleased to enter the market.”
The company is currently building a new 15-acre (6-hectare) waterpark in the Temecula, CA, which is scheduled to open in May 2007. Details: www.mywaterpark.com
