New woodland proposed for Hinckley park
Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council (HBBC) has drawn up plans for a new community woodland and wildlife haven at Hinckley's Brodick Road Park.
The project would provide a habitat for nature conservation and a quiet area for local residents under the proposals, which are now subject to a consultation. It is hoped that members of the public would help with planting the woodland, as well as with the future management of the site when complete.
Final plans are due to be drawn up at the end of March.
