Nick Farmer elected as TEA’s first European president
Nick Farmer, founder of Farmer Attraction Development, has been unanimously elected as the next president of the Themed Entertainment Association (TEA).
Farmer will be the trade association’s first European president and will take over from current president Craig Hanna at the annual TEA members meeting during IAAPA Expo in Orlando, Florida in November.
Currently around 80 per cent of the TEA members are American with only 20 per cent based in Europe – a figure Farmer intends to increase during his tenure.
He said: “TEA’s core will always be in the US, due to the way the association originated, but the industry does have a vital branch in Europe, and that branch needs to grow.”
Farmer has been a TEA member since the association established its European Division in 1998, and has served three years as European President.
